Hahaha...your frustration amuses me. I can help:You can easily make it easier by doing the following:
1) Set your Poketch/Gear to the Map application, and keep running back and forth over the route/city border. Like what Homer did when he discovered he was in America and Australia in that one episode. If the Monster face appears on your position, run to a grassy field and use the following pokemon:
2) Have high level a pokemon that knows False Swipe so you could KO it without KO-ing it.
3) Do #1 again

4) Have a high level Pokemon that can learn Mean Look AND Hypnosis, like Gengar. Damage and Sleep every legendary first, Run away if you need to so you can save. Their conditions will last forever til you meet it again.
5)After everyone's weakened to 1HP and put to sleep, Mean Look OR 1st Place any monster with Shadow Tag. Wobbuffett's are cool, they can take hits while you do your thing. Til it wakes up.
5) Paralysis also works, But if it has Roost or whatev you have to start over. It's also good to wait til Night Time so you can use Dusk Ball's 4x Rate.
